INTELLIGENCE

Many a times we have come across the word 'intelligence',do you know were the word took its origin? The word intelligence is derived from a Latin word intelligentia .The oxford dictionary defines the word as,"The ability to gain  and apply knowledge and skills".

Mainstream Science on intelligence states that,"A very general mental capability that, among other things, involves the ability to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend complex ideas, learn quickly and learn from experience. It is not merely book learning, a narrow academic skill, or test-taking smarts. Rather, it reflects a broader and deeper capability for comprehending our surroundings—"catching on," "making sense" of things, or "figuring out" what to do ".

Various theories have been postulated by different scientist across the world but at the end every thing is a complete mess.Intelligence roots up from a person's desire and to think logically but few people fails to remember this stuff.Intelligence is mainly acquired from personal experiences, books and other sources. Some say that with intelligence, one can turn the world upside down.It is found that "people with high E.Q(emotional quotient) than I.Q(Intelligent quotient) make a successful career".But how do we keep these two things in equilibrium is always a tough question to answer?.Edison quoted that,"Genius is 99 percent hard work and 1 percent inspiration".

So the next time when you come with an idea of E.Q vs I.Q don't forget to post your reviews.Take care folks!
